You might recognize the column title. That’s\u00a0because there’s also an amazing booklet<\/a> by the same name that\u00a0Lisa wrote for Our Sunday Visitor.<\/p>\n

Lisa is also the founder of amazingcatechists.com<\/a>, a group blog dedicated totally to catechesis (of which I am a regular contributor).<\/p>\n

Why you should read Lisa’s column<\/h2>\n

I seriously enjoy Lisa’s\u00a0Patheos column. Her writing is\u00a0so wonderfully simple and inviting.<\/p>\n

She makes catechesis<\/a> very accessible to the beginner and\/or average catechist. Her approach is unassuming and encouraging because she’s honest about her struggles as well.<\/p>\n

I think catechists without\u00a0a lot of experience will read her column and think, “Yeah, I can do this!”<\/p>\n

Your catechesis benefits you as much as your students!<\/h2>\n

Lisa makes catechesis attractive! She talks about the\u00a0great benefits you get from being a catechist and from learning more about the Faith.\u00a0That’s what attracted me to her work in the first place and I still think it’s a very important message.<\/p>\n

People are often intimidated by catechesis but it’s so beautiful and so rewarding.\u00a0There’s a satisfaction and joy that comes from learning more about Catholicism and delivering it to others.<\/p>\n

It’s a great\u00a0experience seeing someone’s face light up when they understand these great truths in a deeper way. You really are helping people have\u00a0more fulfilling and meaningful lives.<\/p>\n

Lisa has a great way of disarming the fears and making you excited to try harder and become better.<\/p>\n

So check out Lisa’s column and subscribe to it while you’re at it! You won’t be disappointed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
