I understand\u00a0what to do…in theory. I just don’t quite know how to make it\u00a0happen.<\/p>\n

When I was struggling with<\/del> doing youth ministry at my parish, I searched for\u00a0a Catholic resource that\u00a0would tell me how to do the basics.<\/p>\n

I didn’t find much.<\/p>\n

There were a lot of protestant resources, but nothing on the Catholic side.<\/p>\n

So I was really excited when I listened to my friend Michael Marchand’s new project, the Catholic Student Ministry Podcast<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

This is\u00a0the Catholic youth ministry resource I needed but\u00a0couldn’t find. It’s excellent!
\n<\/p>\n

Michael packed this episode\u00a0with some insanely useful content. It was about how to get students to church for sessions. And, they were all drawn from the Bible! You know I love that.<\/p>\n

Michael has 10 years of experience as a youth minister. For\u00a0the first six years, he spent a lot of time searching for new ways of doing things…the magic bullet of ministry models that\u00a0would effectively reach his students.<\/p>\n

But then he realized that, instead of searching for modern methods, he\u00a0should be diving into Scripture to find biblical principles to apply to his modern ministry<\/strong>. That’s what he does each week on this podcast.<\/p>\n

His ideas were awesome!\u00a0I found myself taking notes for ideas to \u00a0get new\u00a0people into my RCIA classes. It was that good.<\/p>\n

So, if you’re looking for a\u00a0great youth ministry (Michael prefers the term student ministry) resource that will teach you how to do ministry from a solid, biblical perspective, check out the Catholic Student Ministry Podcast<\/em>. You won’t be disappointed.<\/p>\n
